Memoir Everyone's feelings were up in the air. Some people felt excited, others were nervous........ will I stutter during my speech or trip & fall while walking over to receive my Diploma. Some students felt numb, sad, while others felt carefree and confident. I was one of those students who experienced ALL of the above:) Seeing all of my friends for the last time, most likely, and seeing students cry, rushing to have that last picture taken with your buddies and favorite teachers, balancing those flowers & balloons with hugs. Unforgettable!! MR. SIMS you were an amazing music instructor and great person to share a joke or two with!!! Fond memories I had at Poly. Choir, Drill team.....sweeeet time during freshman year. I bet some of us would've liked to have done better in class(s), however, overall no complaints, it was great at Poly. I know I won't ever forget my high school years. Drama club, Yearbook fav's, the Cheer Squad (Senior Year).....Silver & Navy blue being our graduation colors, nice. "I'll remember" by Madonna was our class song and Leticia Pelayo voicing out her graduation speech. The Humanitarian Classes were memorable esp. Film class and our little retreat. Meeting incredible friends and continuing friends- R.Rodriguez, Maria, Bessie, Brigette P., Cesar I., Marisol M., Olympia, Gutierrez, the Pelayo's, Ricardo & soooo many others:) For those of you who are current students at POLY, Remember, you only get one teenage lifetime (that I know of), treasure every moment of it, work hard but most of all have fun during the process! To the class of 1995, I'll remember, class time, laughter, excellence, laid back, persistance, good & bad judgments and everyone I shared good times with. Thanks for everything and for adding to my fond memories of Polytechnic High School. GO POLY PARROTS.
