Memoir At this time of year (Spring, Early summer) I recall all of the friends from High School, not just in my class, but all the classes that we came in contact with for the 3 years attending Poly High. I go back and look at the year books, and the faces. We had a war back then as you may recall. Who knew how many from Poly High would pay the ultimate price for freedom, surely not me. Friends from all the sports, all the teams, the band, the choir whom I never got to say good bye to. As each class graduates I pray for their sake they take the time, say good bye, and wish each other well in life. I have looked at the Wall in Washington D.C., and far to many of the 59,000 plus names were friends, school mates, class mates that I wish I could have done just that, said good bye, and wished them well.
