Memoir The Poly Varsity finally (after several years absence)appeared in the Los Angeles annual All Leagues( Varsity Football) Bowl Game at the Los Angeles Colisium (North Vs South Teams, I believe). Poly won their time period vs. a tough Garfield Team. The "over all contest" ended in a tie between the North and South Teams (as I recall). This was a lot of fun, good playing and good sportsmanship, overall. This was just prior to the USA"s entry into World War Two.
