Poly is joining the REACH HIGHER INITIATIVE. This campaign is by the First Lady to motivate students to continue their education after high school. The official national day for this campaign is Tuesday, April 26.
Attached is a flyer with opportunities for our staff to participate. However, we would like to draw your attention to OPTION #3 on the attachment.
On Tuesday, during lunch we want teachers to come "DECKED" out in college gear of their choice. This is NOT just wear a shirt or sweater but go all out with WIGS, FACE PAINT, POM POMS, HATS etc On Tuesday, April 26, come out to the polygon during lunch and compete against other staff members on stage to see who has the best/outrageous college gear on (similar to our Halloween contest)
IF YOU WIN, you get to have a pizza party for the class/period of your choice!
SO LETS DO THIS POLY STAFF! LETS GET OUR STUDENTS EXCITED ABOUT COLLEGE!
PS-for our out of classroom staff, you are more than welcome to compete as well and then choose a class you want to have the pizza party.
